This is a project we did at the beginning of the year in AP Human Geography. We got to pick a notable geographer, and then we wrote an essay about him/her on their achivements and contributs to the world.

After doing this project, I learned about Thomas Malthus. He studied how population and food production are related, and he came up with the idea that food would one day run out, know as the Malthusian catastrophe. I also learned that he wrote An Essay on the Principle of Population and Principles of Political Economy.

AP Human Geography

For this project, we had to pick a city and find certain facts about it. The facts I used were about language, ethnicity, religion, population, and economy.

I learned more about Egypt from this assignment. I also learned how to create a state profile project.
