Physical Science

This artifact is a lab we did in science. We had to find the velocity of a metal ball that rolled down a ramp and onto the floor, and we had to describe the motion of the ball as it rolled down the ramp (accelerating/decelerating).

I learned from this assignment that sometimes things can go wrong and you have to start completly over and that is okay. I also learned that it can be difficult to collect certain data, but you have to figure out the best and most accurate way to find it.

This assignment is a lab we did in science. We had to figure out how many pennies were in a sealed envelope without touching it or lifting it to the light. What my group did was weigh the envelope with the pennies and then weigh an envelope witout any pennies and subtract numbers. We then found the weight of one penny and divided it by the weight of the pennies in the envelope to get number of pennies in the envelope.

This project taught me how to think outside of the box to figure out a way to find the number of pennies witout touching or lifting the envelope.
